Above the bed was sanded to a smooth 150 grit and stained to the customers choice of colors, which was a provincial stain.

All I can say is awesome job on the DF Team signature bed. You absolutely nailed it another addition to our house. Looks great and the kid absolutely loves it.
By the way.... That bunk bed you built us is still rock solid like the day it was assembled. It got taken apart, moved and reassembled when our daughter claimed it once she knew her brother was getting a new Timber bed from you guys!

Timber beds made using premium western red cedar with skookum 6"x6" posts, live edge cedar slab head boards and foot boards, and lots of color choices available.
The 2 x 8 side rails are actually connected to the footboard and headboard by seating into a carved out pocket on the inside of the posts so you don't see the the fasteners from the outside and are a lot stronger than brackets most builders use, where we use mortise and tenon joinery.

This design is our Most Unique bed! each piece is hand picked for its upmost character and carefully placed into the design using west coast character red cedar only. we bookmatch the headbaord slabs and flip the tree posts upside down to show off the character flare butts.
Each bed is uniquely its own with different character pieces chosen for for the footboard and headboard.
